You've got a big decision to make.
"Can you give me 24 hours to think about it?" you ask.
But why don't we ever ask for time to feel about our decisions?
You're pitching a new idea to your boss or co-worker. You sign your email with this: Thoughts?
But why not this: Feels?
I just completed my certification as a Career Intuitive Coach, a training that included instruction on connecting to our intuitive feelings and helping our clients to do the same. I'm so excited to do this work because in hindsight, the best decisions in my life were based on my right-brain feelings or intuition instead of my left-brain logic. On a good day, my left-brain spins me in circles.
There's a lot of debate as to whether our left and right brains really do process information differently. I'm of the camp that would argue that the people who've shot down left-brain/right-brain processing are left-brain thinkers instead of right-brain feelers.
After watching this incredible TED talk by Jill Bolte Taylor I am even more convinced, not that I needed convincing.
So let's just do it. Let's start a revolution of Feels. Our theme song can be Feeladelphia Freedom.
This blog is focused on exploring ideas around yoga, career, intuition, purpose, and passion. Please leave a comment. Namaste.
